Pandemic & Employment

Employers and Employees should be aware that discrimination laws and equal employment laws still remain in effect during the pandemic and in returning to work.

The linked article discusses some disturbing statistics.  For example, women’s payroll employment decreased significantly compared with that of men during the pandemic. Women have also disproportionately lost jobs in various industries.  It has been statistically identified that black and Hispanic workers are were at high risk of layoffs.

Any employer,  manager, or employee with questions about the pandemic return to work and related discrimination laws should contact an experienced employment attorney.  Galdean Law Firm is available to assist with these employment law issues.
